Hi. Here it's the web interface I made. This was just an experiment to learn shell scripting and sed. How does it work? Just pop the packages in /packages and start the server then point your favourite browser to your server's IP address and that's it. Features: Web server with: HTML output (with graphics. PNG format). XML output (well formed but not valid). 180 minute log depth Relatively fast for a Shell script. (Default configuration for one ppp link in ppp0. May also work with eth0 if changed in the code, though the regexp should be changed a little. If not changed, it also displays the IP address, but also shows the netmask and other stuff). Configuration: you have to edit the source by hand for now. Sorry. Known issues: for some reason, MS Internet Explorer doesn't want to display the pages. Analyzing the network, i discovered that in fact it does send the GET / HTTP/1.1 but the server never answers with Content-type: ... etc TODO: SOLVE MSIE ISSUE (though that is minihttpd's problem). Add "universality" Nicer code Max and mean speed counters Validate XML make it XHTML compliant (the code is already, but i have to ad the DOCTYPE spec) Questions and suggestions to hjf@hjf.com.ar Hernán Freschi
