Hello Thomas: Here are 4 new files hopefully to be added to your /contrib directory under a new 2.2.18 directory: Maybe this mail can be posted there as well as a lightweight readme file. This should get people up and running PPPoE and PPP very easily, now that you have changed network.ini. The files are: ppp-plus.bz2 pppoe.bz2 pre-ppp.ini ppp-up.ini 1. ppp-plus.bz2 is the new pppd package, that includes the newest 2.2.18 kernel modules slhc.o and ppp.o. 2. pppoe.bz2 is the new pppoe package that contains the latest rp-pppoe-2.5 client. 3. pre-ppp.ini is a script that simply copies the file /packages/ppp-up to /etc/ext-up.init, which will in turn be called by /etc/network.init. 4. ppp-up.ini is the PPP or PPPoE startup file that becomes /etc/ext-up.init. For users who only want to use dialup PPP, all they need is ppp-plus.bz2, ppp-up.ini, and pre-ppp.ini. If users want to use PPPoE, they need those 3 PPP files, and also the pppoe.bz2, all put into the /packages directory on their floppy.
